David Jones graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1985, where he was a member of the men's rowing team. He received his Master's degree from the University of San Francisco (USF) in 1988. He attended Whittier College, McCullom School of Law receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993 and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.
Mr. Jones' background includes: 4 years as an Associate with Sawl & Netzer and then Partner with Sawl, Taleisnik & Jones, 12 years as a Deputy District Attorney with the Fresno County District Attorney's Office and several years as a civil litigation associate. Further, Mr. Jones is on a number of California County's Superior Court appointment panels. He is also a Professor for the State Center Community College District and teaches courses for the Fresno Police Academy.
Mr. Jones practices in the areas of State and Federal criminal law. He is a trial attorney with significant trial experience having conducted in excess of 100 trials. He has experience in and has handled thousands of criminal cases including: homicide; drug sales & possession; kidnapping; rape; assault; theft; fraud; and driving under the influence/DUI, to name a few.
